COACHING The only change on Northwestern’s staff is running backs coach Chris Foster leaving for the same job with Duke. He was replaced by Cal’s Aristotle Thompson, an excellent RBs coach and a really good get. Head coach David Braun is the former Big Ten Coach of the Year in 2023 and I really like offensive coordinator Zach Lujan in his role. I do think they might not be getting enough out of defensive coordinator Tim McGarigle and I wonder if they shouldn’t have upgraded on him this offseason…
