Can Illinois build off of a resurgent 2024 season into a legitimate playoff contender this fall? They have every ability to do so with the roster in front of them.
Talent is harder than ever for Northwestern to come by and, while I like their play on the line of scrimmage, there’s a hard ceiling on this team. It remains to be seen if that ceiling is barely making a bowl game or barely missing one.
