Michigan split its games against Penn State last weekend in Happy Valley, losing the first contest 3-0 (technically, 2-0 with an empty net goal), and winning the second in overtime, 4-3. The split – and, in my opinion, blowing a three goal-lead – dinged Michigan’s rank, dropping from No. 1 last week to No. 3 this week.
