I’d love to start this Sun Belt preview on an optimistic note, but there’s no avoiding reality in this league. It enjoyed a rapid ascent to the upper echelon of the mid-major ranks in the late 2010s and early 2020s, and saw the coaches responsible for that rise slowly picked off over the last five or six years.
