After extensively pondering what I watched on Saturday, I’ve decided that I’m actually very pleased with the performance. It wasn’t the 45-10 bloodbath my soul so desperately wanted, but in a way, it was even more satisfying than that.
I went into Saturday night’s game looking for two things: whether Ohio State can rely on its running game in big moments, and whether that new defense actually lives up to the hype.
I think it’s safe to say The Local Team addressed my concerns fairly emphatically….
