Michigan Shuts Out UConn, Covers Spread, Hits Over

During an otherwise bleak noon slate of games for the Big Ten, Michigan made sure any concerns would be at a minimum heading into conference play. Despite a 59-0 win over UConn, however, the Wolverines didn’t come out unscathed.

Michigan dominated in every facet. J.J. McCarthy continued to leave no doubt who should be QB1, throwing 18 times for 214 yards. Blake Corum tied a school record with five rushing touchdowns on only 12 carries.
