Michigan winning a national title has been the worst-case scenario for Ohio State fans for the past several decades. Even if Michigan were to win a game or three here and there against Ohio State, Buckeye fans always held the “well you can’t do shit nationally” trump card to tide them over until Ohio State inevitably won The Game again.

And it’s been a fair criticism!
