It’s been a good college football season for scheme. There’s still plenty of RPO hegemony, but we’re starting to see something new emerge around the sport. It feels like we’re set to enter a new era sooner than later. I’ve seen heavier personnel, more complex run design and more play action passes with at least two receivers running routes.
