COACHING Ryan Walters was the lone Big Ten head coach fired after last season. He was replaced by Barry Odom, the former UNLV and Missouri head coach; Odom owned a 19-8 record in the last two seasons at UNLV and finished no. 23 in the final AP poll last year.
