Michigan Week Two Preview: Facing Hawaii and a Record Point Spread

Michigan moves on to its second televised scrimmage game, hosting a program in the early stages of a Year Zero scenario. The only way to lead off the Hawaii preview is to gawk at the point spread.
At the moment I’m writing this paragraph, the Wolverines are favored by 51.5 points on most sportsbooks. That’s the largest spread for a U-M game since at least 1995, according to MLive. The previous high: 45.5 points in 2012 against UMass. (Michigan covered, winning 63-13.)
