As a reformed Cleveland Browns fan, I sympathize with Iowa Hawkeye fans. They have suffered years of watching tepid to outright trash football to the point they ironically wear “Punting is Winning” t-shirts to games because if they take their team too seriously, they will drown themselves in Busch Light.
It’s the Hawkeye management that draws my ire. Is there any program that better symbolizes the mediocrity in which the Big Ten has been mired over the last decade?
